HOLIDAY MINI HOP!

Welcome to the 2010 Stampin' Addicts Holiday Mini Blog Hop!  If you've been following the hop in order from the beginning, you just arrived here from Carmen's blog Stamping Addiction, where she featured the very versatile set, Tags til Christmas.  I loved that snowman, didn't you?

If you jumped in in the middle, don't worry! All the blogs are linked, and if you follow the links at the end of each post, you'll come full circle and end up back here.  And I'm offering some blog candy!  Look for the info at the very bottom of this post.

Today I am showcasing the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set.  It coordinates with the Bingo Card stamp, but inspiration led me down a different path. Bingo would be so......predictable.  There are 24 different little stamps in this set, and so many possibilities!  First up is a card using the poinsettia stamp.
The wreath was formed by gathering the new seam binding ribbon - lovely stuff!  The centers of the poinsettias are the new Glimmer Brads.  I love bling. It appeals to the Magpie in me. :-)

Up next is another card, this time using the cardinal stamp.  Cardinals aren't indigenous to my area, so I just have to make my own.
That wonderful chunky glitter is also in the Holiday Mini.  More sparkly stuff, woohoo!!!

Next is a 3D project; a sweet little tin.  With sweets.  Chocolate sweets.

Mmmmm, chocolate.............     Where was I ? Oh yeah, the project....

This was so quick and easy to make (and if you follow my blog, you know how I love quick and easy!), and makes a great gift.  Just stamp the little images on 1" x 2-5/8" address labels and wrap them around Hershey Nuggets. They fit perfectly!
And finally, something for the kiddies.  As you traveled over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house, you kept the little tykes busy with the Travel Tic-Tac-Toe game I posted a few days ago.  You did, didn't you???  Well, by the time you get to Grandma's house, I'm sure they will be bored with that game, so now you can whip out this one...it's a Merry Match Game!  Since there are 24 stamps in the Jolly Bingo Bits set, all you have to do is stamp two of each, mix 'em up and test the memory of your wee ones.  (Might want to test Grandma, too, while you're at it, lol.)
Thanks for visiting today!  When you are all finished hopping, I hope you will hop over to Stampin' Addicts and see what they're about.  It's free, and it's for all people who love Stampin' Up!, be they demonstrator or customer.  Their motto is "Positively Creative! Positively Stampin' Up!"

Your next stop is Jennifer's blog, Stampin' on the Fly.  Jennifer is working with the simply elegant Rejoicing in Christmas set.  Wait until you see the cracked glass card - WOW!

  6. Cindy,
Wow I just spent the last hour hopping from one blog to the other leaving comments on all of them, however when I checked back later they weren't there so I'm hoping comment moderation reason. GD is not happy with me for being on the computer for so long... Loved all of the creations. I loved your ideas and the colors you chose were fabulous, then your work is always fantiastic. Having said that you said in yesterday's post to be eligible for your candy I had to post another blog that I liked. Tough, tough... but Debra at http://heartfeltlinksinspiration.com Falling Foliage gets my vote. All of them were really great!

  24. Wow Cindy...so many hop worthy posts this last week or so and yet you still came up with even more goodness for the actual hop itself. Once again its hard to pick a favorite - though I'm tending toward the match game I'm definitely going to CASE the ribbon wreath card.

    For the Candy....
Congratulations on the blogaversary and thanks for offering such awesome blog candy. I've been wishing I'd gotten that hostess set for sometime now. I've commented on all the other hop posts and picking a favorite...come on they're all fabulous. I did love Holly's Halloween House that was anything but "dark and dreary" and Jen's cracked Glass Rejoicing in Christmas should really be framed (so should her son's creation too!). I think this hop really went over the top and I can only imagine what you will all have to live up to for the next one. Just something about Christmas that seems to bring out the magic. I remember last years was pretty special too.

    Thanks again and happy hopping....

  26. I enjoyed your many ideas, especially the games for the kiddos(including the tic-tac-toe that didn't make the cut here!). Your projects were all very nice and "enabling"! I would like to win your blog candy, so my blog hop favorite is Sara's projects using Day of Gratitude. I love that stamp set and think she did a great job showcasing it. It was hard to choose, though. Everyone did an awesome job. Thanks to all!

  27. I had left my comment before I saw your blog candy, so thought I'd come back and play, but the thing that I thought was so ingenious was Amy's fish, but I can't leave a comment on her blog. Even when I log into wordpress, it never works for me for some reason. I always have to use the name/url thingy and she doesn't have one. But maybe you can pass along my comment to her.

  35. Cindy, your projects are all superb! I have to say, today the wreath tickles my fancy--no wait, the cardinals. . . .

And what a fun way to choose your blog candy! Let's see, if I could only give one shout out. . . . it's not easy, but I'm going with Kim's pink retro Christmas ensemble (*hums in her best Elvis tones 'I'll have a pink Christmas with ink. . . .' *)

P.S. Thanks for ruining my life--I've got Jolly Bingo Bits for the Ft. Worth Regionals SA dinner swap. . . . I can just see everyone going home grumpy in their 'I swapped with Holly and all I got was this lame bingo card' t-shirts.
